About JSON Converter Tools

JSON Converter Tools is a collection of practical, browser-based utilities designed to help people work with common structured data formats. The site brings several everyday data tasks together in one place, with straightforward interfaces and clear instructions.

What you can do here

  • Convert JSON records to Excel workbooks (XLSX) or CSV files.
  • Flatten nested JSON objects into spreadsheet-friendly columns.
  • Convert JSON Lines (JSONL or NDJSON) into CSV.
  • Turn CSV rows into JSON objects.
  • Pretty-print or minify JSON for easier reading and compact storage.
  • Validate JSON syntax and review parser error locations.
  • Convert a pasted JSON API response into an Excel workbook.

How the tools work

The converters are designed to process the data you enter in your browser. The Excel export tools load the SheetJS library from a public content delivery network (CDN). The converter itself does not send the JSON you paste to that CDN; your browser requests the library file so it can create the workbook locally.

Accuracy and limitations

Conversion results depend on the structure and validity of the input. Nested arrays, inconsistent records, data types and spreadsheet formatting can affect the output. Each tool page explains its supported input and important limitations. Always review exported files before using them in production systems or important workflows.

Our approach

We aim to keep the tools accessible, understandable and useful. We do not claim that a conversion is a substitute for reviewing, backing up or securing your original data. If you find a problem or have a suggestion, please visit the Contact page.
