How JSON to CSV conversion works
CSV is a simple tabular format supported by spreadsheet applications, databases and many data tools. This converter accepts a JSON array of records or an object with a data array, flattens nested object properties into dot-separated columns, previews the result and downloads a CSV file. Processing takes place in your browser.
A simple example
[{"product":"Notebook","price":4.5},{"product":"Pen","price":1.25}]
The resulting CSV contains product and price columns, with one record per row. Values containing commas, quotes or line breaks are escaped for valid CSV output.

How to convert JSON to CSV
Paste a JSON array containing records, or an object with a data array. You can also select a JSON file. Choose Convert to CSV to create column headers and rows, review the first 50 records in the preview, then download the CSV file or copy its contents.
Example JSON input
[{"name":"Ayesha","age":28,"city":"Lahore"},{"name":"Bilal","age":32,"city":"Karachi"}]
Nested values and CSV compatibility
Nested object properties are flattened into dot-separated column names, such as address.city. Array values are stored as JSON text in a cell. Fields containing commas, quotation marks or line breaks are quoted so spreadsheet programs can read them correctly.

Prepare clean CSV data from JSON records
CSV works well when you need to import records into spreadsheet software, databases or reporting tools. This converter turns a JSON array into rows and uses the object properties as column headings. Where nested objects are present, their property paths are represented with dot-separated column names so that related values remain distinguishable.
Before downloading, review the preview for missing values, unexpected columns and values that may need further cleanup. CSV stores tabular text; it does not preserve JSON data types or nested object structures as separate objects. Array values are represented as text rather than expanded into multiple records.
Use valid JSON as the input and keep a copy of the original data if you need to preserve its full structure. The converter is intended for structured records, not arbitrary prose or malformed JSON.
